I recently read a couple and realized that this is my favorite genre. Anyone have good recommendations?
Not really autobiographies but why not recommend the master of modern day linguistics in Noam Chomsky:
Profit over People: Neoliberalism and Global Order
The Prosperous Few and the Restless Many
Failed States: The Abuse of Power and the Assault on Democracy
Manufacturing Consent: The Political Economy of the Mass Media
My husband has read every book by Newt Gingrich. That’s his favorite political author.
Newt wrote ":To Try Mens Souls":, which is about the Revolution. Although it is fiction, it was based on actual accounts and diaries.
My husband likes anything from the 1700’s thru the early 1900’s. He is always astounded by the similarities in different historical periods. He says we are reliving the period immediately prior to the Revolution. Kinda scary.
mein kampf, is ment to be really good, my old history teacher said so
