Solar Eclipse?

Where I live, a lunar eclipse just happened a few days ago.
My teacher told me that in August, a solar eclipse will happen.
is this true ?

Solar Eclipses: Past and Future

The following links give detailed descriptions of all eclipses of the Sun and Moon from 2000 through 2008. The original reports were published in the annual Observer’s Handbook of Royal Astronomical Society of Canada.
Eclipses During: | 2000 | 2001 | 2002 | 2003 | 2004 | 2005 | 2006 | 2007 | 2008 | 2009 | 2010 |

The next three total solar eclipses are:
Total Solar Eclipse of 2008 August 01
Total Solar Eclipse of 2009 July 22

Yes!!!!! It will definitely be a solar eclipse n August!!!

Yes, it is true. However, it will occur along a very narrow path far from most of civilization. So, unless you live far far in Canada’s north (and I DO mean far, not, say, Timmins, Ontario) you probably won’t see a thing.

Take a look at the link to see if its going near your home… do you live in outer mongolia?

Yes it is true.

Very much so.
