which is better a Yorkie poo dog or a Yorkie?

I am getting a new dog but i can’t figure out which is better i did all the research on both dogs compared and they both would fit me but now i want to see what the world thinks about each dog.

A well-bred yorkie. Why? Because it wasn’t bred by some scamming BYB. The correct term is MUTT, not &quot:yorkie-poo&quot:.

The Yorkie poo is a little mutt. The Yorkie is a pure breed.

You cannot buy a quality mutt or a low quality mutt but you can buy a well bred Yorkie or you can buy a low quality Yorkie. If you buy a cheap one you will, in the long run, spend the difference in Vet bills. So look for quality Yorkies, from breeders who do pre-breeding testing on both the male &amp: the female (the parents of the pup),

The Yorkie poo will need grooming constantly &amp: depending on your finances, it could get expensive.

Just for fun check out some other small dogs.

A &quot:Yorkiepoo&quot: is not a breed of dog. It is a mix and therefore has no breed standard for you to look up. It could have characteristics from a Yorkie to a Poodle and inbetween, including appearance, temperament, and genetically inherited diseases. The ONLY way I would ever get one of these mixes is through a rescue or shelter. Otherwise you are supporting greedy backyard breeders.

A Well-bred yorkie would be the best for predictable health, appearance, and temperament.

You could adopt from yorkie rescue or you to the AKC website, click on Yorkshire Terrier then follow the breeder links.

www.petfinder.com is an excellent resource for finding mixed breed and purebred dogs in needs of good homes.

A yorkie from a good breeder

&quot: the good thing about yorkie poos is that they don’t shed much due to the poodle in them, and they will be hypo allergenic, so you won’t have to worry about any of your friends, or you being allergic. another good thing about mixed breeds is that they have the benefits of both dogs in then.&quot:

Romzz Yorkies are low shed dogs to BEGIN WITH. Second having POODLE in them means nothing. There are people with moderate to sever allergies who can still have a reaction to low dander dogs. Not to mention some people are allergic to dog saliva and urine.

A well bred Yorkie from health clearanced parents is much better than a backyard bred &quot:Yorkie Poo&quot: (wider gene pool &amp: no genetic testing). The only place to get a mutt is a shelter or rescue.

A purebred Yorkshire Terrier from a good healthy line would be the best. If you must have a Yorkie-Poo, it must be a first-generation puppy from a purebred Yorkie and a purebred Miniature Poodle. Anything else and you have health risks that decrease lifespan and quality of life, due to illnesses and behaviour problems.

they are both good dogs, just make sure they are coming from a good place. the good thing about yorkie poos is that they don’t shed much due to the poodle in them, and they will be hypo allergenic, so you won’t have to worry about any of your friends, or you being allergic. another good thing about mixed breeds is that they have the benefits of both dogs in then.

I’m partial to mixs so I think the yorkie poo. Try to find one at your local humane society!

Yorkie poo, because cross breeds seem to be heathier with much less problems heathwise. And their very cute!
