WASHINGTON – It really is the economy, stupid! Economic models that have correctly predicted the winner of almost all post-war U.S. presidential elections say recession fears will secure a victory for Barack Obama in November.
Three separate studies showed the Democratic presidential hopeful winning between 52 and 55 percent of the popular vote on November 4, based on current gloomy economic estimates.
Any further darkening in the economic outlook — many analysts think things will get worse between now and November — would reinforce that election outcome.
Will people really vote their own best interests and the best interests of the country? Or will they stick to political party agendas or even prejudices for/against either candidate?
Well, since the VOTERS will determine the president: I’m not too concerned about ":economic models":. **snicker**
It was a good attempt at spin though. LOL
Most voters will go with a candidate that has EXPERIENCE over a candidate that has NO EXPERIENCE.
they are good fairly some the time – as are the polls. yet i might wait till after the conventions to start attempting to make any predictions. only as quickly as in the previous 12 elections has the candidate with the more advantageous convention bounce lost the final election. Michael Dukakis in 1988, yet he took a month off from campaigning, had he no longer executed that, he probable could have been waiting to win. With the conventions so overdue this time, i do no longer think of the two candidate could have time to make any genuine comeback.
In Liberal Dreams !!!
JUNIOR U. S. Senator Obama did NOT complete his FIRST term in office !!
… with just 143 days of ACTUAL experience
… HE decided
… that he DESERVED to be THE President of THE United States of America !!!
JUNIOR U.S. Senator Obama knows TAXES, TAXES, AND, MORE TAXES !!!
He will NOT stop at taxing the rich !!!!
Please, search the …
Global Poverty Act (S.2433), … and it is being sponsored by none other than JUNIOR U.S. Senator Barack Obama
JUNIOR U.S. Senator Obama, the Unions, and the Democrats are sending messages to big business
… to downsize in America and send more jobs to ":friendlier": countries.
Brilliant ideas from JUNIOR U.S. Senator Obama, the Democrats and the Unions (SARCASM) !!!!
econimic models favor obama….however democrats in congress favor more of the sam hence 109 billion for iraq and the extention of the bush wiretapping bill…the more things change the more they stay the same..
end the two parties, before they destory america
The GOP is far too powerful.
If you don’t know that, you know little of what you speak of.
McCain will not be defeated in November.
The GOP is far too powerful and will control the outcome, much the same way they did the last two elections.
My head hurts from always being right.
Obamas answer to everything is to raise taxes. If the economy is to improve raising taxes is not a good solution.
First – isn’t possible to win the popular vote and not win the election? Secondly – why am I automatically prejudiced if I don’t vote for obama?
If it were just the economy then McCain would win hands down. Obama wants you to believe in him regardless of the consequences
All I can say is that I will vote for Obama .
I am wondering about this fall as well. Winter comes too soon when considering high home heating bills and who knows what else.
Well if he is elected go look up what happened after 4 years of Carter.
