What city on the isle of Cyprus did Paul and Barnabas visit on their first journey?
The two cities he is know to have visited are Salamis and Paphos. (See Acts 13)
Acts 13:4-12 Tells the story. They first went to ":Salamis": on the Isle of Cyprus and they went as far as Paphos.
Paul, Barnabas, and a Christian named John Mark sailed from Antioch to Cyprus. They landed at Salamis on the island’s eastern coast, spreading the cult rhetoric as they traveled westward to Paphos.
The city of Paphos
Lyconian. Or something like that. That’s when the people thought that Paul was Hermes and Barnabas was Zeus.
